Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a current IL license, Level 1 trauma experience, and strong scrub and circulate skills for night shifts.Job Details• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with Level 1 Trauma Center designation,• Night shifts with a 4x10 schedule, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM,• Every other weekend required, typically 2 weekends per month,• One on-call 10-hour weekend shift per month, with no weekday call,• Caseload includes Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery cases,• Floating to other units within scope and up to 50 miles from home facility is mandatory,• Cerner EMR is used for charting; prior experience preferred but not required,Job Requirements• Active IL RN license (no pending licensure accepted),• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care OR experience required,• Level 1 trauma experience required,• Demonstrated scrub and circulate skills required,• Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required,• Preferred experience in Neurosurgery, Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology,• Must provide proof of COVID vaccine,• Must live within a 75-mile radius of the facility,Additional Information• Must be willing to float across units and to different facilities within 50 miles if required,• Clinical team-based support is provided when assigned outside primary competency,• Navy blue scrubs are provided and required,• Strict compliance with lab work completion within 72 hours of offer acceptance,• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted, with no more than 2 consecutive days and no RTO on weekends or around holidays,• First day must not fall on or near a holiday due to RTO restrictions,• Holiday coverage is required and calling out on a holiday may result in contract cancellation,
