The Communications & Engagement Student Assistant supports the Gosin Center's marketing, storytelling, and event engagement efforts at the Pleasantville campus. This role focuses on digital content creation, social media management, and on-site event support to amplify the Center's programs, including the Gosin Network Scholars Program and Fireside Chat Series. This is a pre-professional opportunity for students interested in marketing, communications, leadership, higher education, or community engagement. This position is looking for work-study eligible student applicants ONLY. Responsibilities Marketing & Digital Communications Manage and curate content for the Gosin Center's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and Setter Sync) Develop and maintain a content calendar in collaboration with Gosin leadership Design digital flyers, graphics, and promotional materials using Canva Capture photos and short-form video content at events Track engagement metrics and provide brief monthly analytics summaries Event & Program Support Assist with event set-up and breakdown for Gosin programs and signature events Provide on-site support including check-in, photography, and light logistics coordination Support promotion of co-sponsored events with student organizations Represent the Gosin Center professionally at campus events and engagement spaces Contribute creative ideas for increasing student awareness and participation Work-study eligibility required Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and Canva Strong written communication skills Comfortable creating short-form video content Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Reliable and organized Interest in marketing, communications, student leadership, or higher education Preferred Qualifications Photography or basic video editing experience Experience managing social media accounts Experience supporting campus events
