This full-time direct hire position is located in Portland, OR.BenefitsMedical, Dental and VisionEAP, FSA, HSA, Short-Term and Long-Term Paid Parental LeaveMatching 401K and 100% immediate vestingEducation Assistance, Society Dues, Professional Registration Fees Paid Conferences and TrainingBonus ProgramHybrid Work EnvironmentResponsibilitiesOversee the delivery of bridge design projects, ensuring an exemplary client experience for a variety of clients including local agenciesContribute to the development of the firm's Bridge Services marketing strategy, focusing on providing excellent repeat services and expanding the client baseManage project schedules and budgets, leading the design and production of bridge plansAddress technical challenges and collaborate on project pursuitsCoach junior-level staff and collaborate with other Professional Engineers across the firmRequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program required7+ years related bridge design experience required, 10+ years Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Oregon requiredExperience with ODOT or other state department of transportation , knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plusProficiency in Microsoft office requiredProficiency in MicroStation or similar CAD programs and bridge design tools is requiredFamiliarity with OpenBridge Modeler is Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience and relationships with local agencies is Ability to work independently or as part of a teamOutstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levelsExcels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learnWork sponsorship is not available at this time.
