**Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Equipment / Dump Trucks****Middletown, NY****$25.00+/hour starting pay (based on experience)****Temp‐to‐Perm | Full‐Time | Year‐Round****Job Description**We're looking for a skilled, hands‐on **Diesel Mechanic** to join a solid construction and trucking operation in Mount Hope, NY. This job is all about keeping **tri‐axle dump trucks and tractor trailers** running safely and efficiently.If you're the type of mechanic who knows their way around diesel engines, can diagnose problems on your own, and takes pride in doing the job right, this could be a great long‐term opportunity. This is a **temp‐to‐perm position** with steady, year‐round work and room to grow.**Schedule**+ **Monday-Friday: 1pm-10pm (Hours May Vary)**+ Saturdays as needed+ Full‐time, year‐round work**What You'll Be Doing**+ Diagnose and repair **diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues**+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep trucks on the road+ Engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs+ Brake jobs, suspension, and steering repairs+ Hydraulic system repairs (preferred)+ Electrical system diagnostics and repairs+ Tires, general truck repairs, and basic maintenance+ Handle road calls when needed+ Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area+ Jump in on other tasks as needed to support the operation**What We're Looking For**+ **Hands‐on experience working on dump trucks and/or tractor trailers**+ Strong knowledge of **diesel engines**+ Ability to diagnose and fix problems **independently**+ Comfortable using diagnostic tools and power tools+ Reliable transportation to and from work+ Valid driver's license required+ **CDL is a plus** , but not required+ Strong work ethic, dependable, and safety‐minded**Pay & Benefits**+ **Starting at $25/hour or more** , depending on experience+ **Temp‐to‐perm opportunity**+ Steady, year‐round work+ Work with a well‐established local company+ Consistent hours and long‐term potentialManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
