Travel Medical-Surgical RN, Post Surgical Care Unit - $2,462 per week

A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) • 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back • Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience with recent hospital experience required • Trauma level II experience and prior travel experience required • Epic charting experience mandatory • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC) • Work with Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps • Nurse-to-patient ratio: days/evenings 1:4-5, nights 1:5-7 • Handle 10-15 admissions per day in fast-paced environment • Provide pre and post-surgical care for adult and geriatric patients • Must demonstrate ability to multitask, prioritize patient care, and work as team member • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit that provides comprehensive care for pre and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients. The unit maintains high occupancy rates of 90-95% during the week with an average length of stay of 2-3 days.
