Estimator

Overview:Responsible for preparing accurate project estimates by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. Provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions through the gathering of first-hand information from plans, specifications and drawings. Determine key variables for cost and other estimates based on industry, project, and Novia Corporation business knowledge. Support various business growth initiatives through efficient and effective communication and professional interaction.Essential Duties:Estimating & Customer Service SupportProvide accurate and timely estimates to one or more customers per projectGather, organize, and analyze project documents to complete estimates - encompassing all of Novia Corporation's products and services.Collaborate with all departments within Novia to provide the best possible solution, pricing, and scope of workMaintain company bid list(s)Provide customer and other industry professionals with knowledge pertaining to Novia productOther duties as assignedIdeal Candidate:2+ years of estimating experience in vibration isolation, HVAC, and/or commercial construction.Thorough, reliable, analytical and passionate about their profession.Detail oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task within a strong team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Friendly and well spoken.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, email, and data entry.Preferred software skills: Bluebeam and the ability to learn proprietary estimating softwareMust be able to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Other Information:Hourly - Full Time (M-F; 8am-5pm)Weekly pay on ThursdaysAmazing benefits include:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401K with company matchingLife InsurancePaid Time OffTuition Reimbursement
