The Housekeeping Supervisor also helps train and manage staff. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping.Job Posting Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted until May 24, 2026.Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities Help train and manager housekeeping staff Brief housekeeping staff on events, occupancy of the day, and the cleaning focus of the day Provide housekeeping staff with necessary tools to complete cleaning assignments Monitor the speed of housekeeping staff to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner Make housekeeping boards with the cleaning focus of the day Inspect rooms and public areas for overall cleanliness Maintain constant communication with front desk about early arrivals, late departures, and room requests Stay abreast on occupancy of the day, departure and arrivals, event(s) of the day, VIP rooms, special requests, and guest reviews Assist in cleaning rooms and public areas as needed Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required 2 years of management experience preferred 5 years of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient knowledge of industry trends and best practices Proficient knowledge in company policies and procedures Detailed knowledge of internal processes, workflows, and decision-making protocols Proficient knowledge of employee management strategies, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution techniques. Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain team cohesion Skill in assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths Skills in coaching and mentoring team members to help them grow professionally Proficiency in planning, managing, and executing projects within scope and deadlines Ability to handle difficult customer interactions and ensure high levels of satisfaction Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality Ability to communicate in English and SpanishAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical Demands Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)Job Benefits This position is classified as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits: Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.
