Our curated portfolio of luxury properties spans the four majestic mountains of Aspen Snowmass, one of the world's most iconic destinations.POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring all properties are exceptionally clean, properly appointed, and guest-ready. If you are a hands-on leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruit, onboard, and develop housekeeping staff, including supervisors, to enhance team skills, performance, and efficiencyDevelop and implement structured training programs to ensure consistent onboarding, skill development, and service standardsCreate and manage cleaning schedules to ensure timely turnovers and optimal staffingOversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed to Aspen Vacations' quality standardsMotivate the team through recognition and accountability, addressing performance issues when necessaryConduct regular property inspections to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards, promptly addressing any deficienciesMonitor and manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment, proactively sourcing and replenishing as neededPerform inventory checks to verify household items and amenities are in place, in excellent condition, and replaced as neededImplement and uphold cleaning protocols that ensure consistency, safety, and sanitation across all propertiesEnsure prompt reporting of maintenance issues and follow up to confirm timely resolutionCoordinate with guest services and operations teams for seamless arrivals, departures, special requests, and deliveriesRespond proactively to guest and owner requests, resolving issues with professionalism and urgencyAccurately bill owners for additional housekeeping services and replacement itemsParticipate in leadership meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to improve operations and guest experienceCommunicate professionally with owners and guests to understand preferences, resolve concerns, and build trustFoster open communication and a positive team culture focused on continuous improvementQUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of housekeeping management experience in high-end vacation rentals, luxury hotels, or resortsDeep understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectationsStrong leadership and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressureProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and housekeeping/property management softwareProven success managing and training a housekeeping team to 5-star standardsExperience recruiting, onboarding, and conducting staff evaluationsExperience developing and implementing training programsVendor management experience (suppliers, laundry services, etc.)Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests, owners, vendors, and staffAbility to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsBudgeting and cost control experience for housekeeping operationsBilingual in English and Spanish requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to reach overhead and below the waistRegularly push, pull, and lift objects up to 25 poundsFlexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twistProlonged periods of desk work and computer useCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Annual Salary: $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with opportunity for additional performance incentives.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO)Performance-based bonus opportunitiesSupportive, collaborative work environment where your ideas are valuedSCHEDULE:Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.J-18808-Ljbffr
