We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist with input inventory experience to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing bills and incoming payments, ensuring accurate input of inventory data, and maintaining precise financial records. Responsibilities
Process and verify all accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments aligned with company policies.
Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of incoming payments.
Input and maintain inventory data within our accounting software systems, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and valuation.
Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and detect discrepancies promptly.
Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable, receivable, inventory adjustments, and other financial transactions.
Conduct account reconciliations regularly to ensure consistency across general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end closing procedures by preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and supporting audit processes.
Skills
Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
Expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries.
Ability to mentor junior team members while fostering a collaborative team environment.
