Equipment Engineer Details Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) Targeted Experience: 3 5 years Equipment Engineer ResponsibilitiesSupport the in-building team on DAS and venue projectsManage equipment engineering logistics, including ordering, receipt, and acceptanceCreate material requests and forecast future equipment needs based on project start datesTrack components and monitor equipment expenditures to ensure budget alignmentPrepare purchase orders and coordinate vendor paymentsDrive equipment procurement and optimization efforts for network deployment plansEnsure compliance with wireless industry standards, practices, and equipment specificationsPartner closely with team members through strong project management and communication Equipment Engineer QualificationsRequired: 3 5 years of relevant experience in wireless technologies, wireless networks, or network designRequired: Strong project management, organization, and communication skillsRequired: Bachelor s degree or 3+ years of relevant professional and/or military experiencePreferred: In-building and DAS network experiencePreferred: Experience with RF repeaters and telecom or cellular industry environmentsPreferred: Knowledge of RF, electrical, and mechanical design, including equipment configurations This Equipment Engineer opportunity is a great fit for candidates who want to contribute to high-impact wireless network projects while building expertise in DAS, procurement, and network infrastructure.
