Blazer Jobs is hiring a School Occupational Therapist for a full school-year contract position serving students throughout the 2026–2027 school year.This is an itinerant school OT role, meaning you'll travel between school sites to deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs. It's a fantastic opportunity for a pediatric OT or school-based OT who thrives in a dynamic, community-centered environment and is passionate about helping students build the functional skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.Apply today and start making an impact beginning August 11, 2026!------------------POSITION DETAILS------------------• Contract Dates: August 11, 2026 – June 2, 2027• Position Type: Itinerant• Hours: Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week• Schedule: Monday through Friday• Pay: $68 – $78 per hour, based on experience------------------WHAT YOU'LL DO------------------• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals• Collaborate with special education teachers, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and school staff• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional classroom skills• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress to IEP teams and families• Recommend assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to promote student independence• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions------------------QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS------------------Required:• Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license (candidates without CA licensure will not be considered)• Ability to travel between school sites as required for an itinerant position• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a full-time school OT caseload independentlyPreferred (not required):• Experience in school-based occupational therapy or pediatric OT• Familiarity with IEP processes, school-based therapy models, and IDEA compliance• Experience working in an itinerant or multi-site school setting• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse student populations------------------COMPENSATION & BENEFITS------------------• $68 – $78 per hour, based on experience• Weekly pay• Comprehensive benefits package• 401(k) plan------------------WHY CHOOSE BLAZER JOBS FOR YOUR NEXT SCHOOL OT JOB?------------------Blazer Jobs is a trusted staffing agency specializing in placing education and healthcare professionals in school-based roles across the country.
