Details Work setting is an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) Perioperative circulator role within the surgical services department Ophthalmology experience preferred Schedule is four 8-10 hour days per week, 6:30am–5:00pm No call, no weekends, and no holiday requirements 40 hours per week Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room environment Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and perioperative nursing practices CNOR certification preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsible for direct and indirect professional nursing care for surgical patients, including planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating care in the perioperative environment Individualizes patient care according to health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed Accountable for ongoing documentation of all components of care using the nursing process Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation before being eligible for a new contract Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screen, background check, medical requirements) is strictly enforced and must begin immediately upon acceptance of an offer American Traveler Job ID P-688954.
