Benefits Vice President
This role serves as the enterprise lead for self-insured benefits strategy, governance, and vendor management for a reputable broker dealer—driving a high-quality, cost-effective benefits experience while ensuring full regulatory compliance.What You'll DoOwn the strategy and execution of enterprise-wide benefits programs, including health, welfare, wellness, leave, workers' compensation, and EAPAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on benefits strategy, risk, compliance, and cost optimizationDesign and enhance benefit plans aligned with business goals and workforce needsLead all benefits communications to ensure clarity, engagement, and adoptionOversee regulatory filings and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirementsEvaluate vendors, brokers, and partners—delivering data-driven recommendations and managing key relationshipsMonitor legislative changes and proactively guide program adjustmentsEstablish strong governance, policies, and operational excellence across benefits programsLead, mentor, and develop the benefits team while ensuring accurate execution and issue resolutionWhat You BringDeep expertise in self-insured health plans, funding strategies, and vendor managementStrong command of benefits and employment regulations (ERISA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearlyAnalytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and control costsLeadership experience managing teams and multiple strategic prioritiesAdvanced Excel and HRIS experience (UKG/UltiPro a plus)
