Lean Manufacturing Team Manager (Steel & Stamping)

As our Lean Manufacturing Team Manager, you will orchestrate people, processes, and presses to deliver on-time, high-quality output—while developing talent and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement.Impact you’ll makeHit production targets and elevate quality by standardizing work and eliminating waste.Reduce downtime: analyze performance, plan maintenance, and act fast when issues arise.Grow capability: train, mentor, and assess team members to create a resilient, high-performing unit.Advance safety culture through routine audits, meetings, and strict adherence to OSHA guidelines.Ensure complete and accurate production records, reporting, and documentation.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to streamline flow and solve complex problems.Lead 5S, Kaizen, and broader Lean initiatives to drive measurable, sustained improvements.Maintain alignment with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.What sets you apart5+ years in steel operations with strong exposure to stamping and fabrication.3+ years in rapid-paced production leadership, including order fulfillment and inventory management.1+ year of formal leadership/management experience.Operational knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping best practices.Excellent communicator; English/Spanish bilingual capability preferred.Comfort with Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory tools; SAP proficiency valued.Leadership acumen: problem-solving, multitasking, prioritization, and effective delegation.Detail orientation and strong organizational discipline.Personal integrity, reliability, positivity, and an approachable leadership style.OSHA knowledge and demonstrated safety best-practice adherence.Lean Six Sigma or similar CI training.Skills you’ll leveragePeople leadership and supervisory experienceTime study analysis and production optimizationKaizen and Lean Manufacturing principlesWarehouse and distribution expertiseISO 9001 certification experienceERP & MRP systems; inventory management and controlSpanish language skillsTechnology and equipmentStamping presses: Minster and KomatsuERP platforms, including SAPBenefits that support youHealth, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Paid Sick Time, Vacation, and Paid Holidays.
