CCS Certified Inpatient Auditor

A company is looking for an Inpatient Audit Specialist. Key Responsibilities Perform inpatient facility coding audits and provide rationale for identified changes Organize and prioritize multiple cases to ensure optimal workflow and turnaround time Provide coder education through the auditing process and maintain knowledge of regulatory changes Required Qualifications 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing CCS certification preferred; RHIA or RHIT also preferred Maintain a 95% DRG accuracy rate Experience with various software including Epic and Cerner Extensive knowledge and experience in inpatient auditing
