Inpatient Audit Specialist (CCS Certified)

A company is looking for an Inpatient Audit Specialist. Key Responsibilities Conduct inpatient coding audits on medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and other coding references Provide coder education and prepare final reports for coding audits Meet with client facility representatives to discuss audit findings and trends Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in coding and auditing Associate or Bachelor's degree from an AHIMA-certified HIM or Nursing Program, or completion of a certificate program from AAPC, with a preference for CCS Preferred credentials: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA Recent experience in academic/level 1 trauma centers Experience with various software including EMR, Encoder, and Auditing software
