If you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading automotive company, we want to talk with you!Hourly pay rate: $47.01/hour-$51.66/hourJob ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a team of highly motivated Embedded Software EngineersDesign and develop embedded software components for automotive Body Control SystemsPerform feature-level requirement analysis and develop functional specificationsProgram, debug, modify, and enhance software using C and PythonDeliver high-quality, reliable, and complex device driver code on timeScale, modify, and refactor existing software components to support new architecture requirementsCollaborate with architecture, validation, and partner teams to develop reusable software componentsCreate supporting documentation and integration guidesPerform code-level integration tasks including build environment replication and source-level debuggingContinuously improve and streamline deployment processesWork with development and project managers to align CI/CD pipelines for product variant releasesEvaluate technologies and methods for cloud-scalable test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for virtual and hardware ECUs Job Requirements5+ years of embedded software development experience (Body Control Systems preferred)5+ years of programming experience with Embedded C, MATLAB Simulink, and StateflowStrong C programming skills with the ability to write portable, platform-agnostic code3+ years of experience with Objective-C3+ years of experience developing Proof-of-Concept applications for automotive ECUs2+ years of experience working in an Agile environmentBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldAbility to work onsite 4 days per week (hybrid role) Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and DockerExperience using Jenkins and GitHub ActionsExperience in software development for automotive control unitsExperience with AUTOSAR methodology and workflowsSoftware simulation experience using hardware modelsEmbedded software development experience on Linux platformsStrong embedded debugging skillsKnowledge of tools used for embedded program developmentFamiliarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ASIL A-DSelf-reliant, approachable, and strong communication skills BenefitsAs an Embedded Software Engineer with Bartech Staffing, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with over 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
