We provide software for managing enrollment and members, paying medical claims, electronic health records, encounter data, and more.Role DescriptionWe're looking for an entry to mid-level Software Developer to join our small, fast-moving engineering team. In this role, you'll split your time between hands-on development work and serving as the primary point of contact for user support tickets and questions. This is a great opportunity to build technical depth while developing strong customer-facing communication skills — and to grow into a more dev-heavy role over time as you ramp up.This is a contract-to-hire, full-time, remote role. You'll monitor and respond to support tickets submitted by users, troubleshoot issues, gather additional information, and either resolve the issue or escalate as needed. Many requests involve querying backend data and preparing scripts to assist users with updates or issues. You'll also develop new features and help maintain our custom SaaS platform in a full-stack environment using Microsoft Blazor, .NET API, and a document database.ResponsibilitiesSupportServe as the first responder for incoming user tickets, questions, and bug reportsTriage, prioritize, and resolve issuesReproduce reported bugs, document findings, and escalate to the broader dev team as neededMaintain clear, empathetic communication with users throughout ticket resolutionIdentify recurring issues and flag patterns to the team for longer-term fixesContribute to and maintain internal knowledge base / FAQ documentationDevelopmentFix bugs and implement small-to-medium features across our .NET / Web API stackParticipate in code reviews and sprint planningWrite clean, high-quality, maintainable codeGradually take on larger development tasks as skills growQualificationsRequired: Hands-on coding experience with Microsoft web technologies (C#, Blazor, .NET)Required: Experience with or strong interest in using AI tools to support development work (e.g., AI-assisted coding tools, LLMs)Healthcare domain experience (EHR, Claims, Medicare/Medicaid, TPA)3+ years of relevant work experienceExperience with document databases desirableExperience with Blazor, RavenDB, and EDI desirableAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong written communication skills — you'll be talking to non-technical users regularly
