As a Camp Counselor, you will educate campers participating in the Living History Camp. Reporting to the Farm Museum Manager, you will plan and lead learning experiences for 3rd - 6th graders related to 1800's rural life. Helping campers learn through crafts, farming, and demonstrations are the daily responsibilities of this role.Essential DutiesPrepare and teach daily lessons and activities. Perform daily set up and clean up.Supervise, direct, and evaluate camp volunteers.Attend camp staff orientation and participate in scheduled staff meetings.Uphold all policies and regulations imposed by Museum Management and the Camp Director. Use Museum property and equipment responsibly.Foster collaboration and provide learning opportunities. Facilitate a supportive work environment.Independently ensure all work is complete and timely to achieve department goals.
