Environment Health and Safety Manager

Job DescriptionPrequel Is seeking candidates for a full time Environment, Health and Safety Manager (EH&S) with a reputable manufacturing organization in the Cary, IL area. This position includes a competitive salary, and a full suite of health and retirement benefits.This role works onsite at the company headquarter location in Cary and will lead a team of three (3) health and safety professionals responsible for: site health and safety programs by providing technical expertise, including machine guarding, hazardous energy control (LOTO), lifting, fire and emergency response, ergonomics, personal protective equipment, etc. Provide guidance on a broad range of health and safety issues and technical support on regulatory requirements, permitting, recordkeeping, reportingAssist management with identifying and controlling health and safety risks; researches and recommends risk-control solutions. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in a Discrete Manufacturing environment and living within a reasonable commute to Cary, IL.
