Job DetailsDescriptionHybrid Schedule- 3 days in office 2 days working from home Job SummaryThe HR Administrator is responsible for managing Workers' Compensation, Leave Management, and serving as the Designated Employee Representative (DER) for Drug Testing. This role ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations, supports employees through their leave and return-to-work processes, and maintains accurate and confidential records.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkers' CompensationAdminister the Workers' Compensation program, including claim management, communication with insurance carriers, and coordination of return-to-work programs.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of workplace injuries and illnesses.Support investigations related to workplace incidents and recommended corrective actions.Maintain and analyze Workers' Compensation data to identify trends and recommend improvements to workplace safety.Leave ManagementManage leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, personal leave, and other statutory leave types.Educate employees and managers on leave policies and procedures.Coordinate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate processing of leave payments and benefits.Track and monitor leave balances and entitlements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies.Assist employees with leave requests, providing guidance and support throughout the leave process.Designated Employee Representative (DER) for Drug TestingServe as the primary contact for all drug testing-related matters.Coordinate and administer the company's drug testing program, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies regarding drug testing.Maintain accurate and confidential records of all drug testing results and related documentation.Provide training and support to managers and employees regarding the drug testing program.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with specific experience in Workers' Compensation, Leave Management, and drug testing programs.Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to Workers' Compensation, FMLA, ADA, and drug testing.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).Experience in a similar role within a mid to large-sized organization.Familiarity with safety and risk management principles.Working ConditionsOffice environment with occasional travel to company locations as needed.Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods of time.May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 poundsDisclaimer: This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent. it is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the incumbent. incumbent may, and probably will be asked to perform other duties as required.
