The US team works closely with engineering, project management, and development teams based in Germany within a global matrix organization.About The RolePro-beam is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support machine installations, startup activities, troubleshooting, and commissioning support for highly specialized industrial production equipment across North America. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial automation, machinery, mechatronics, electromechanical systems, or field service environments who enjoy working directly on machines and solving technical problems in real production settings. Importantly, this is not a pure PLC programming role and not a reactive 24/7 service position. The core PLC programming and controls architecture are primarily developed by engineering teams in Germany. Instead, the role focuses on:supporting machine startup and commissioning activitiestroubleshooting machine and automation-related issuesunderstanding industrial systems end-to-endcombining electrical troubleshooting with mechanical system understandingNew hires are supported through onboarding, training, and collaborative field assignments before gradually taking on more independent responsibilities over time.
