They need a full-stack developer to extend a Point-of-Care controller for connected analyzers. The role combines Java Spring Boot backend work with React/TypeScript frontend development in an Electron-based application.Context & Scope:This is an end-to-end product development role on a small distributed team. The work focuses on implementing new controller features, resolving defects, and supporting technical decisions across UI, business analysis, verification, and external partners. The talent will influence application behavior and delivery quality, not product strategy.Tasks and Deliverables:Implement Java Spring Boot business logic.Build and maintain React and TypeScript UI features.Review feature designs and propose technical options.Contribute to technical decisions and code reviews.Collaborate with design, analysis, verification, and partner teams.Must-Have:Experience in Java software development for embedded devices.Experience in product development for embedded devices.Strong React and TypeScript experience, including SPA.Experience with REST-based protocols and hardware integration.Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.Familiarity with Docker and i18nExperience with Unix toolchains and scripting.Comfort with agentic coding workflows.Nice-to-Have:Experience with cloud-enabled devices.Experience with Azure PaaS.Experience with device monitoring and reliability.Experience with CI using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar.Experience interfacing with databases.Engagement Highlights:Own both backend and frontend delivery for a connected device controller.Work on a product used in a regulated analyzer environment.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.Join a small distributed team with meaningful technical input.Additional Details:Location: Hybrid in Durham, North Carolina (3 days/week in-office)Type: 40h/week contractDuration: 6-12+ monthsAuthorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
