You will work at the intersection of technical sales, market development, and long term strategy. En route on this endeavor we're commercializing High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) cable technology for power distribution while advancing the physics basis of our HTS tokamak to decarbonize global shipping. Since participating in the world's leading startup accelerator, Y Combinator, we've moved quickly to plot the most pragmatic path to getting the First of a Kind (FOAK) fusion reactors out in the world in an application most primed to benefit from recent advances in HTS magnet technology. Our founding team brings a unique blend of hands‐on engineering experience from Tesla and SpaceX, combined with deep academic expertise in plasma physics and fusion energy technology from academia and industry.DescriptionWhat You'll Be DoingIdentifying and developing opportunities for our HTS cable across power distribution, data centers, maritime, defense, and emerging industrial sectors.Building strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, OEMs, EPCs, shipyards, and government programs.Leading the early sales cycle from technical introduction through requirements gathering, scoping, and pilot deployments.Translating customer needs into clear engineering requirements and working closely with our technical team to shape product direction.Representing Maritime Fusion at conferences, customer meetings, site visits, and government or industry roundtables.Creating materials that help explain our technology including pitch decks, technical briefs, case studies, and early proposals.Helping us map the HTS ecosystem including suppliers, integrators, standards bodies, and regulatory pathways.Driving outbound engagement, prospecting new verticals, and refining our go to market plan as we scale.What You BringComfort translating complex technical ideas into clear value propositions for customers and decision makers.Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with executives, engineers, procurement teams, and government stakeholders.A track record of identifying new markets or partnerships and moving them from idea to opportunity.Familiarity with energy systems, electrification, industrial power, defense, maritime systems, or superconducting technologies is a plus but not required.A proactive approach, willingness to dive into ambiguity, and genuine excitement for building real hardware with real customers.Readiness to roll up your sleeves whether that means helping run a demo or coordinating with suppliers.Compensation:$120k-200k salary + 0.1%-1% equity + bonuses #J-18808-Ljbffr
