Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, coordinating transportation, answering client questions, and helping individuals adjust to daily program routines. You will also monitor client wellbeing and promptly report any changes in physical or mental status to the clinical team—ensuring safety is always the top priority.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ year of experience in the mental health field or related college coursework (preferred)Strong commitment to maintaining a safe environmentProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicValid Drivers LicenseKey ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with clientsAssist with admissions, orientations, and intake processesMaintain clear and consistent communication during client admissionsComplete accurate and timely shift reports and checklistsFacilitate orientation groups and support client engagementDe-escalate situations and assist clients experiencing challenges, including those leaving treatment AMA/ACAMaintain awareness of client whereabouts through regular headcountsMonitor family visits to ensure safety and complianceSupport medical staff during medication pass (if applicable)Maintain cleanliness and organization of all facilities and common areasParticipate in scheduled staff meetings and trainingsExercise sound judgment and seek support when neededProtect client confidentiality in compliance with all federal, state, and organizational privacy standardsEqual Opportunity EmployerAt Amatus Health, we are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
