Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation: On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Global Payroll Provider for an 18-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Waterloo, Ontario office. Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Job Description: The project involves the consolidation and migration of 8–9 payroll vendors into two, as part of the global payroll transformation program. The successful candidate will lead this high-visibility initiative to unify the payroll landscape under a single vendor, ensuring technical stability, compliance, and operational readiness. Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Responsibilities: Establish and maintain the global implementation master schedule. Lead a cross-functional “Working Team” to align technical delivery with change impacts. Act as the primary bridge between Payroll and IT/HRIS teams. Design and oversee UAT and Parallel Run strategies. Serve as the main point of escalation with the global payroll vendor. Own the alignment of change management activities with implementation delivery. Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - Mandatory Skills: 7+ years of experience in Global Payroll, HR Project Management, or HRIS Implementation. Proven experience managing multi-country vendor transitions. Deep understanding of payroll compliance and testing methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with change management and project management. Comfortable working with data and storytelling insights. Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Workday. Experience in large-scale transformation delivery. Ability to identify root causes across data and processes. Strong communication skills. Experience in stakeholder engagement.
