Industrial Electrician

Under minimal supervision of the work center’s Team Lead and/or supervisor, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical and industrial control panels of industrialized machinery.Roles and Responsibilities:Install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawingsPerform routine responsibilities supporting electrical panels, systems, and wiringTest electrical systems to determine where issues may be occurring, ensure the safety of the system and compatibilityAssemble and install electronic control panels and equipmentPunch boxes as necessaryMake proper conduit runs, flex conduit or liquid tightPull approximate size and color wireLabel parts and wire industrial machineryPrepare equipment for installation.Install feeder wiresCollaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering personnel to resolve problemsReview and update/redline system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematicsRepair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devicesFollow departmental and company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, personnel, material control and other relevant systemsEnsure that quality of products produced meets or exceeds Una-Dyn standardsInteract with team members in a professional mannerIdentify production problems in a proactive mannerOffer suggestions to improve the safety, quality, timeliness, and cost of controlsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDCompletion of electrician apprenticeshipAbility to read blueprints and schematics3-5 years of industrial wiring experienceExperience with circuits and electronicsKnowledge of testing industrial machines with different voltages to include European voltagesAbility to speak and read English languageWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
