Director Of Work Preparation And PlanningA leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Work Preparation and Planning to lead internal logistics, production planning, industrial engineering, and Lean strategy across its U.S. operations.Location: Springfield, OHSalary: $95K$115K + benefitsThis role is responsible for driving operational excellence across the supply chain, including inventory management, capacity planning, and logistics network optimization. The Director will lead production planning teams, ensure efficient material flow, and leverage SAP systems to maintain consistent and optimized production output.Key responsibilities include developing and implementing Lean initiatives such as Kaizen and Shop Floor Management, supporting SIOP processes, improving cost efficiency, and enhancing data-driven decision-making. The role also supports new product introduction through BOM accuracy, routing development, and cost analysis.Candidates should bring strong experience in supply chain leadership, manufacturing environments, SAP systems, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Experience in fabrication or assembly-based manufacturing environments is preferred.
