Come join the minds that propel Pennoni!Job Responsibilities:Pennoni is currently seeking full-time and part time AWS Certified Welding Inspectors in Jacksonville, FL for fabrication shops that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies with experience is consistent with, but not limited to:Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materialsMonitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specificationsCommunicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineersProduction of daily written shop reportsRequired Attributes:Minimum Education: High SchoolMinimum years of experience: 3AWS Certified Welding InspectorComputer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work well independently and with othersNeed reliable transportationPreferred Attributes:Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication.Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT).Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication.AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience.Coating Inspection experienceWhy Work With Us?At our core, we recognize that the unique qualities of our Pennoni individuals are essential for innovation and growth as a whole.
