Quality Inspector -3rd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized 3rd shift Quality Inspector to join our Concord, NC team. Our 3rd Shift runs from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM Primary Functions and Responsibilities: Inspect and verify Print, Cut, Folded product at specified intervals where/when directed by the QA manager Communicate quality issues and concerns to QA Manager Use various Measurement & Test Equipment (MTE) and perform calibrations Ensure sorted materials have been identified and flagged correctly Approve and sign off QA areas of selected quality documents Complete quality documentation as require for customers Complies with all company safety rules and workplace conduct requirements Perform sampling when required Communicate any shortages and late orders to QA Manager Follow up on and document Quality Alerts for printing, cutting and folding Demonstrates a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Performs other job duties as assigned Job Requirements HS Diploma or GED required Prior quality and/or package printing experience preferred Possess excellent computer skills Ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds continuously with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift Must have good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to read & interpret material specifications, job instructions, and other documents Must have good visual acuity Must have good color vision Must have good mathematical skills Must be able to read a ruler and understand fractions Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards Must be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits Must be able to work with and around inks, solvents, and other chemicals Willingness to work overtime when needed, including weekends Ability to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction About Us Unity Solutions, a Joint Venture between Walker SCM and Max Solutions and takes pride in being a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in our industry.
