Landscape Maintenance Superintendent

The Superintendent responsibilities impact a highly visible profile of properties for a very important client. We are looking for a dedicated, honest professional that knows how to manage their time well, how to run a small crew, and how to be proactive in order to grow the account.The Landscape Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for service delivery excellence:Manage over 30 properties that need weekly landscape servicesSupervise and support a small landscape crew over a large local regionSupervise on-site operations to meet customer SLAs and day-to-day management as neededEffectively communicate service updates to Customers and managementEnsure check-ins and support documentation are submitted using the FieldTeam Mobile appMonitor and track that crews complete work on time and to scope, based on established frequencies and SLAsManage and resolve escalated and complex Customer and Service Provider issuesProvide ongoing field training to crew members as neededComplete site inspections as neededApprove crew employee time cardsEnsure compliance to policies and proceduresExecute employee performance reviews and facilitate disciplinary actionsBe 'On Call' for related Customer inquiriesMonitor/Respond to customer service team inquiries and provide timely follow upQualified Landscape Maintenance Superintendent applicants possess the following skills/abilities:Ability, knowledge, and aptitude to train on all required site servicesManagement skills that maintain/improve Customer relationships and crew retentionAbility to de-escalate and resolve concerns and work with an attention to detailExcellent work ethic and leadership skills, work independently with minimal oversightExcellent communication skills – written, in person, and over the phoneEffective time management, organization, project management, and task prioritization skillsDemonstrate persistence, ability to overcome obstacles, and consistently achieve goalsAbility to manage laborer crew in landscape maintenance and manage their time and productivityEnsures excellent customer satisfaction and demonstrates a business mindsetAbility to discover substandard site issues and opportunities for improving the propertiesRequired Experience:4+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping industryValid driver's license with no DUI, able to drive a truck with trailer and equipment2+ years of experience in irrigation systems repair and managementSmall engine repair experience preferredWe Offer:Paid training and paid time offMedical, dental and vision benefitsGroup life insurance401K with company matchFlexible Spending AccountCompany work vehicle and cell phone providedSalary: Up to $58,000 annually DOETrucks and equipment are provided to manage the portfolio of commercial properties.
