Travel RN - Med/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Supervisory LTC role at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in New York, requiring a valid NY RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience.Job Details• Long-term care (LTC) unit within a 300-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center,• Primary patient population includes residents with Alzheimer's and dementia,• Role includes both supervisory responsibilities over other nursing staff and working a medication cart,• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 2:45 PM,• Every other weekend required,• EMR: PointClickCare (experience preferred but not required),Job Requirements• Active NY RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required,• COVID vaccination required,• LTC experience preferred; candidates with rehab, med/surg, or other recent acute care experience will also be considered,Additional Information• Supervise nursing staff while also performing medication pass duties,• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration - no changes to shift or RTO will be accepted after an offer is extended,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted for this position,• Approximately 1.5 weeks allowed for compliance onboarding,• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration,• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
