Position OverviewThe Director, Coil and Extrusion Segments for the US and Canada is a strategicleadership role responsible for driving profitable growth and operational excellencewithin the coil and extrusion business segments exclusively across the United Statesand Canada. This role focuses on developing and executing business strategiestailored specifically to these two markets, optimizing product portfolios, and leadingcross-functional teams to achieve commercial and operational objectives. TheDirector will work closely with sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chainteams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business plans within the USCA region.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a winning business strategy for the coil and extrusionsegments in the US and Canadian markets, focusing on profitable growth andmarket expansion. Lead portfolio optimization and rationalization efforts to align product offerings withmarket needs and growth opportunities in the US and Canada. Drive short- and medium-term action plans to accelerate business performance. Leads the sales team and collaborates with marketing team to develop and deployeffective sales tools, collateral, and pricing strategies that maximize profitability andmarket penetration in the US and Canada. Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leadership to ensure operationalcapabilities meet business demands and support growth objectives within thesetwo countries. Champion new product development initiatives in coordination with technical andcommercial teams to maintain competitive advantage and innovation in the US andCanadian markets. Monitor competitive landscape and market trends specific to the US and Canada toinform strategic decisions and maintain market leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internalstakeholders within the US and Canada to support business goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to segment teams, fostering a culture ofcollaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum 10 years of experience in business management within paints andcoatings industry or related industrial markets. Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that drive growth and profitability in these regions. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, andcommercial operations specifically in the US and Canadian markets. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability toengage and align diverse teams and stakeholders. Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-makingcapabilities. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a matrixed environment. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
