Senior Construction Estimator (STACK)

Job OverviewOur client is looking for a seasoned estimator who will independently own the estimating process from conceptual pricing through hard bid across all trades and CSI divisions. This is a role for an expert who can hit the ground running with minimal training, works confidently across every trade in the construction industry, and is comfortable communicating directly with U.S. subcontractors through Construction Online. For the right candidate, there is a clear path to grow into a project management role over time.ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)ResponsibilitiesPrepare full estimates from conceptual/schematic pricing through detailed hard bid submissionsPerform accurate quantity takeoffs across all CSI divisions and all trades for multifamily projects (40+ units)Build, maintain, and refine assemblies in STACK to improve takeoff speed, consistency, and accuracySolicit, track, and level subcontractor bids; analyze scope coverage and identify gaps or overlapsManage all subcontractor bidding and communication through Construction OnlineConduct value engineering and cost analysisSupport budget tracking and change order pricingPrepare complete, professional bid packagesMaintain historical cost data, unit pricing, and subcontractor databasesRequirements5+ years of estimating experience in construction, with significant multifamily exposure (40 units or larger)Proficiency in STACK, including hands-on experience creating and managing assemblies (must-have)Working knowledge of Construction Online (UDA)Strong command of all trades and CSI divisions in ground-up multifamily constructionAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawingsProfessional written and verbal English communicationSelf-directed and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously with minimal supervisionNo degree required; professional experience and proven track record are prioritizedPrior U.S. construction market experience (Preferred)Project management experience (Preferred; role has a path into a PM position)Independent Contractor PerksHealth Insurance Coverage for eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringNotePlease click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording.
