We value challenges, quality workmanship, and work-life balance.As we continue to strengthen our operations and quality systems, we are seeking a Production Supervisor with a strong understanding of quality principles and hands-on manufacturing experience to lead our test area.Position SummaryAs a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the test area of our shop. Your primary focus will be on safely producing high-quality ovens and furnaces efficiently and on time. You will schedule production and ensure proper movement of products throughout your area. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized facility, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. You will provide training to employees and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.This role requires a leader who is not only production-focused but also quality-driven, capable of identifying issues, supporting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.What You Will DoSupervision / Leadership: Lead and motivate your team to achieve production goals and maintain high standards of quality and safety.Production Scheduling: Plan and schedule production while ensuring smooth workflow and on-time delivery.Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed complies with the Grieve Quality Management System and support continuous improvement initiatives.Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources to meet production schedules for equipment and parts.Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of engagement and continues development among employees.Process Improvement: Implement and uphold best practices for processes within your area.Training: Provide necessary training to employees to enhance their skills and performance.What You BringEducation: Minimum of an associate degree with relevant proven experience.Manufacturing Expertise: Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes.Quality Knowledge: Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspections, and continuous improvement methods.Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.Electro-Mechanical Experience: Proven experience in an electro-mechanical environment.Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience is preferred.Troubleshooting Skills: Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.Technical Proficiency: Experience in welding, sheet metal, electrical, assembly, and quality control.**Core capabilities: **Production and personnel coordinationQuality mindset with the ability to support and enforce quality standards.Resource and workflow managementStrong product knowledgeTechnical understanding of testing, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.Why Join GrieveWork on highly customized, engineered industrial equipmentBe part of a collaborative, hands-on environmentOpportunity to influence both production and quality systemsClear path for growth into leadership rolesBenefitsPTOMedical, dental, vision, life insurance401(k) with company match11 paid holidays**Schedule: **Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMEqual Opportunity StatementGrieve is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
