Validation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ECU Validation Engineer with strong expertise in validating automotive ECUs, especially Body Control Module (BCM) along with Body, Lighting, Passive Safety, Thermal, Chassis, and Airbag systems. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end validation, ensuring system performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end validation of ECUs including BCM (Body Control Module), Body, Lighting, Passive Safety, Thermal, Chassis, and Airbag systems.Develop and execute test cases based on system and functional requirements.Validate BCM functionalities such as door control, central locking, window control, wipers, interior/exterior lighting, and power management.Conduct validation at unit, integration, system, and vehicle levels.Work on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL, and bench testing setups.Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis.Validate automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, system engineering).Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and other automotive standards.Support test automation using scripting tools.Prepare validation reports, defect tracking, and traceability documentation.Required Skills:Strong experience in ECU validation with hands-on BCM testing.Expertise in tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA, ETAS, Vector tools.Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).Experience with HIL tools (dSPACE, NI, Vector).Understanding of BCM architecture and body electronics systems.Familiarity with requirement tools (DOORS, Polarion).Strong debugging and log analysis skills.
