Software Engineer- GIS/HD/GPS Mapping

Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader in AI and accelerated computing, to hire a Senior Software QA Engineer to support internal mapping tools used by the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Mapping teamThis role focuses on testing UI-based map editing platforms used to create and label HD and SD maps that support autonomous vehicle technologies. The QA engineer will work closely with engineering and mapping operations teams to ensure the reliability and quality of tools used to build high-precision map data.This is a full-time (W-2) contract role based out of Santa Clara, CA with Hybrid work options. We offer competitive pay $40/hr - $60/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!What You'll Be DoingTest UI-based map editing tools used by operators to create and label HD and SD maps for autonomous vehicle systemsValidate workflows used to create, edit, and manage geospatial map dataDevelop and execute test plans and test cases for complex UI applicationsPerform functional, regression, and release testing in a fast-paced development environmentContribute automated UI test cases using Python to expand test coverageIdentify, document, and triage defects in collaboration with engineering teamsPartner with map operations teams to validate tool usability and workflow reliabilitySupport frequent releases of internal mapping tools and featuresWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of Software QA experience testing UI-based applicationsExperience testing map editing or map creation toolsExperience working in mapping, geospatial, navigation, or autonomous vehicle environmentsStrong understanding of UI testing for complex internal platforms or toolsExperience contributing to UI automation using PythonFamiliarity with Agile development and release cyclesStrongly PreferredExperience with HD mapping or SD mapping systemsExperience working with autonomous vehicle or navigation mapping teamsExperience testing tools used by map operations teams or data annotation teamsSustainable Talent is a M/F+, disabled, and veteran equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.J-18808-Ljbffr
