Lead Data Engineer – AI & Data PlatformsJob Type: Contract-to-HireAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Lead Data Engineer – AI & Data Platforms to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms and AI-powered analytics solutions. This role combines deep expertise in data engineering with hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud technologies.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.Build scalable cloud-based data pipelines using Snowflake and modern data engineering tools.Design AI/GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and natural language interfaces.Develop secure, governed AI solutions following enterprise best practices.Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.Drive CI/CD, automation, Agile delivery, and engineering best practices.Required Skills10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.Strong expertise in SQL, ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing.Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.Experience with LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and GenAI solutions.Finance, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets domain experience is required.Strong knowledge of AI governance, security, and modern SDLC.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Nice to HavePython, Apache Airflow, Power BISnowflake CortexVector Search, Embeddings, Agentic AIWorkflow Automation & Conversational AI
