Title: Project Engineer - Interface EngineeringDuration :12+ MonthsWork Location: Warren MI 48093 Job Description:• Create and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates • Develop & Maintain commodity specific documentation. • Generate and Maintain Global subsystem/component technical specifications templates. (SSTS/CTS) • Lead resolution of technical issues • \"Close the Loop\" on learnings by updating required information (Best Practices, GM Specifications, Statement of Requirements, Template, etc.) and document progress in Problem Resolution Tracking System. • Work cross-functionally within GM, coordinating multiple suppliers. • Lead/manage supplier resident engineers • Support sourcing activities • Generate technical solutions for current, new and major programs • Perform complex design analysis • Initiate documents to provide engineering authority and to maintain math/CAD data • Work with engineering functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods and product improvements, and to support build programs • Validation of your module
