Job Responsibilities: The Tools Team Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across multiple cloud platform environments (Google, AWS, Azure. Etc). This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud hosted applications, data, and infrastructure by applying best practices in identity, network, data protection, monitoring, and compliance. Selected individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the current Cloud Security Monitoring tool deployed by TxDOT. Team member will provide services in the following areas:Maintain Cloud Security Monitoring ToolDevelop and implement automated security controls and guardrails across GCP environments.Maintain compliance with internal security standards and external regulatory frameworks through audits, remediation, and continuous monitoring Must Have:8+ years’ experience configuring and designing Cloud solutions (Google, AWS, Azure)Experience in any of the following cloud environments Google, Amazon, Azure or Oracle.Experience with Wiz Cloud Security. Preferred:Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certificationExperience with Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor, SCC, GKE, DLP, and ChronicleFamiliarity with DevSecOps, container security, and automated policy enforcement
