Senior Architectural Millwork Project Manager

Each of our specialized teams work closely together to create engaging and innovative environments.The project manager will be responsible for the successful coordination and oversight of commercial and residential architectural millwork projects.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversee any coworker, outside resource or company hired subcontractor involved in the projects to ensure projects are completed on budget, on time and to the specifications.Self performs and delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience and time constraints.Essential Functions:Oversee and coordinate a variety of millwork projects, ranging from small to large, residential and commercial.Liaise with Owners, Architects, Designers, Owner’s Reps and/or General Contractors.Establish a critical path schedule for all projects including but not limited to:Production of shop drawings and sample submittalsMaterial purchasesShop production and deliveryInstallation durationsConfirm bid estimates with actual job specifications, follow-up on any discrepancies as necessary.Submit and track detailed shop drawings:Redline drawings from in house or outside draftersConsult with team members with specific details and construction methodsMonitor progress of projects:Plan changes and associated change ordersObtain costs from Estimating Department for all changes to contract scope during the course of the job. Acquire written approval of all changes prior to ordering work.Respond to inquiries and/or resolve difficulties and bottlenecks pertaining to projectsChanges in completion dates, both in shop and on siteUpdate accounting on progress of project for billing purposesResponsible for field measurements and coordination with other trades (Kitchen Equipment, MEP, HVAC, etc.)Ensure proper information and clear communication is provided to the field installersRelay any knowledge of existing site conditionsHelp coordinate any pre-installation requirementsIn-wall blocking, brackets, etc.Hold-to dimensionsRequired Skills / Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateThorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developedProficient in AutoCad.Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word and excel.Proven knowledge of the requirements to manufacture and install Architectural Millwork and the AWI StandardsBenefits· Competitive salary and performance bonuses· Health, dental, and vision insurance· 401(k) with company match· Paid time off and holidays· Professional development opportunities· Collaborative, creative work environmentCider Press Woodworks is an equal opportunity employer.
