Architectural Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our team, supporting the design and documentation of innovative wood-frame multifamily residential projects. In this role, you will play a key part in translating conceptual ideas into precise construction documents, ensuring design quality, adherence to codes, and seamless coordination across disciplines. The ideal candidate is passionate about residential architecture, proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and eager to contribute to impactful living environments from initial concept through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate comprehensive architectural drawings and detailed construction documents for wood-frame multifamily projects, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD.Develop schematic designs, design development packages, and permit/construction documents that meet project specifications and local building codes.Produce accurate and well-coordinated floor plans, building sections, elevations, wall sections, and details.Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, civil, landscape consultants, and internal teams to ensure integrated design solutions.Incorporate redlines and directives from project architects and managers, maintaining high standards of drawing organization and quality.Support zoning, planning, and permit submission processes, ensuring compliance and timely approval.Manage drawing standards, model organization, and sheet setup to ensure consistency across projects.Participate in internal design review sessions and coordination meetings to refine project outcomes.Assist with construction administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, and field clarifications, ensuring accurate communication during construction.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.3–5 years of professional experience in architectural design or production, with a focus on residential projects.Demonstrated experience with wood-frame multifamily residential developments.Strong proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD.Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing for residential buildings.Familiarity with applicable building codes (IBC, local zoning, accessibility standards).Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external consultants.
