CNC Machine Mechanic

Job DescriptionJohnson Service Group has an immediate opportunity for a CNC Machine Mechanic for a Global Medical Device Company in Franklin, MAContract | Onsite | $30 - $33 per hour Summary: This role supports preventive maintenance, minimizes downtime, and ensures equipment reliability. ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and servo systems Maintain equipment including 5-axis mills, mill-turns, EDMs, CNC lathes, and related systems Analyze machine data to detect abnormalities and prevent breakdowns Document repairs and determine root cause of failures Partner with Engineering to resolve complex issues Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and safety standards Qualifications5+ years of CNC maintenance experience in manufacturing Ability to read schematics and technical drawings Experience with CNC controllers (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazatrol, Heidenhain preferred) PLC and servo troubleshooting experience preferred Ballbar testing experience a plus High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in manufacturing environments D800JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
