Description A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative,join a collaborative and patient-focused surgical team. Position Overview The Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures and work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and medical proceduresEvaluate patients prior to procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia care plansMonitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as neededProvide post-anesthesia care and pain managementCollaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality careMaintain accurate and timely medical documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with access to outdoor recreation, cultural activities, and a high quality of life. Requirements General Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degreeBoard Certified or Board Eligible in AnesthesiologyCompletion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiologyEligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical licenseStrong clinical and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications Prior clinical experience in hospital-based anesthesiology practiceInterest in collaborative patient care and quality improvement initiativesAbility to adapt to a diverse range of surgical cases
