Data Entry Specialist
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a healthcare team with patient communication, documentation tracking, and insurance-related processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and consistent follow-through in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and respond to incoming communications throughout the day, including:EmailsVoicemails and missed callsInternal messages via Microsoft TeamsCerner system notificationsReview and process incoming forms (JotForms) at least twice dailyConduct outbound calls to patients to:Complete recertifications for ADAP & HICP programsFollow up on pending documentationRemind patients to update insurance policies or contact navigatorsMaintain and update patient records across multiple systems, including:SmartSheets (HICP tracking, enrollment records)Excel tracking sheets (loss of contact reporting)Continuum systemsAssist patients with insurance-related tasks, including:Updating patient portal access (password resets)Creating new accounts for newly enrolled patientsCoordinate scheduling by:Reviewing next-day schedulesBooking appointments for patients needing ADAP/HICP support or insurance assistanceCommunicating patient needs to the care team in advanceSupport insurance renewal processes by:Printing and organizing required documents (Summary of Benefits, insurance cards, premium statements)Pulling documentation from internal tracking systems (e.g., SmartSheets)Partner with insurance navigators and care teams to ensure timely patient outreach and appointment schedulingQualifications:Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or healthcare operations preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of information accuratelyComfortable working across multiple systems and platforms simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills (phone and written)Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to time-sensitive requests throughout the dayProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and general office toolsExperience with healthcare systems such as Cerner is a plusKey Skills:Data entry & record managementPatient communication & follow-upMultitasking in fast-paced environmentsOrganization & time managementConfidentiality & compliance awarenessJob Type:On-SiteContractFull Time
