Medical Informatics InternThe medical and neuroscience team is looking for an intern to support our medical informatics team. The medical informatics team utilizes several sources and techniques to mine, analyze and visualize neuroscience clinical trial data. This data supports the development of proposals requested by our clients (pharmaceutical company). This internship offers hands‑on experience in query‑based programming, data interpretation, analysis, and the development of impactful visualizations supporting innovative clinical drug development studies. Responsibilities Gather data to support proposal development requests and trial design.Partner with the commercial, medical and operational teams to contribute to optimal clinical study executionCustomize scripts to support efficient data management processes.Create an innovative database utilizing historical and current industry recruitment trends to provide a tool for predicting various clinical study metrics Develop innovative visualizations and analytical outputs. Support business operations with assumptions to create proposals and budget for clients.Review the protocol/synopsis for various studies.Collect medical informatics based on actuals from finished projects.RequirementsStudent pursing a degree in health information, bioinformatics, public health or related fields. Working knowledge of medical terminologyFluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills.Experience in programming data analysis, and researchAbility to work independently (including remotely) while being an effective team player.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a “getting the job done” mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software and systems.Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with a diverse global team.
