Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg travel contract at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Kearney, NE, working 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 2 years of experience required.Job Details• Acute care Med/Surg unit on the 2nd floor of a 268-bed hospital,• Unit has 24 beds with a daily census of approximately 14 patients,• Team care model for nurse-to-patient ratios,• Specialty patient populations include oncology, renal, urology, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine,• EMR: Epic,• 12-hour night shifts,• Level 2 Trauma Center,Job Requirements• Active NE or Compact (NLC) RN license required - pending licenses not accepted,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Current BLS certification required - pending certifications not accepted,• Epic EMR experience preferred,• Driver's license required for consideration and will be used to verify permanent address,• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,Additional Information• Candidates must permanently reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered,• RNs are required to pass an open-book, pass/fail skills exam (minimum score of 90%) administered on the Friday of orientation - failure to pass may result to contract termination,• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove them will result in contract termination,• If placed on call, the candidate must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes if called back in,
