Snow Removal Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Snow Removal Technician to ensure safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and outdoor property care. This role involves working in various weather conditions to clear snow and ice from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor spaces, maintaining the safety and appearance of client properties. Duties Operate snow plowing equipment, including snow plows, blowers, and shovels to clear snow and ice from designated areas Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and minor landscape repairs as needed Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance Assist with lawn care, landscaping, tree trimming, and irrigation tasks during off-season periods Conduct landscape maintenance such as mowing, gardening, and hardscape upkeep to maintain property aesthetics Identify and address potential hazards related to snow accumulation or icy conditions Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely in a timely manner Experience Prior experience with snow plowing or outdoor property maintenance is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is advantageous Background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is a plus Experience operating excavators or other construction machinery is beneficial but not required Familiarity with tree care, irrigation systems, gardening, and hardscape installation will be considered an asset Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads as required This position offers an opportunity for individuals with outdoor maintenance skills to contribute to property safety and aesthetics during winter months while gaining valuable experience in landscape and construction-related tasks.
