Boswell offers a rare, genuine blend of stability, mentoring by engineering excellence professionals, a "family feel" and growth options for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager of Water Services based at our South Hackensack, NJ Headquarters OR our Chester, NJ OR new East Brunswick, NJ offices.These exciting new roles reporting directly to Boswell’s Vice President of Water Services (Environmental Engineering), will be involved in day-to-day operations leading and managing all levels of engineers while also managing projects.Our Water Services Project Managers are responsible for managing water and wastewater improvement projects which include the design of water/ wastewater conveyance and treatment systems, environmental studies, and hydraulic modelingResponsibilities:Prepare job proposals, establish project budgets and construction cost estimates, and prepare day-to-day paperwork necessary to see projects through from beginning to endComplete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgetsReview project shop drawingsAttend project meetings with the clientsManage/ mentor Engineers at all levelsPassion for continued learning to keep abreast of the changing State and Federal regulationsPrior exposure to a wide variety of engineering challenges, including municipal engineersStrong attention to detailStrong verbal and written skillsAbility to work independentlyManage time efficientlyAdhere to internal standards, policies, and proceduresQualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience including engineering design, construction, project management, estimates and proposalsProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License is required.Municipal Engineering experience and CEM Certified are preferred but not required.Experience in the following: Design of water/sanitary sewer conveyance sytems, Wastewater treatment plant design, water treatment design, well redevelopment, hydraulic modelingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with developing project scope, fee & schedule during proposal preparationWe recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
