Manufacturing Welder

Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder About the Opportunity: We are looking for a talented MIG/TIG Welder to expertly fabricate, weld, and meticulously inspect various components and assemblies, ensuring they consistently meet our stringent high-quality standards. This position demands a strong commitment to precision, a heightened awareness of safety protocols, and a sense of ownership regarding both the quality and efficiency of your work. Our Expectations: Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment efficiently. Expertly weld, tack, cut, and grind aluminum materials of different thicknesses. Accurately position, secure, and assemble parts according to provided drawings and specifications. Adjust welding parameters to ensure top-quality results across various welding positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead). Keep equipment in optimal condition through regular maintenance, preventive measures, and effective troubleshooting. Utilize precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect parts, maintaining detailed production and quality logs. Consistently adhere to all safety regulations, utilize required PPE, and maintain consistent, reliable attendance. Take ownership of both the quantity and superior quality of your completed work. What You'll Need: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on TIG and MIG welding experience, or comparable training. Possession of MIG and TIG Certification (AWS D1.2) or the ability to acquire it within 60 days of hire. Successful completion of a practical weld test to demonstrate proficiency. Proficiency in operating a variety of welding equipment and utilizing both manual and electrical tools effectively. Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret intricate technical drawings and specifications. Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and the correct application of protective equipment. You should be proficient in: Equipment Troubleshooting Fine-Pitch Soldering Maintenance and Repair Skills Framing Mechanical Assembly Skills High School / GED Excellent Communication Skills Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Machines & technologies you'll use: MIG Welder TIG Welder Stick Welder GTAW Welder Manual Plasma Cutter
